  12. I have been having little luck with the Rice binaries, and I have a
  13. megapel.  This may be because I do not have the latests revs of the
  14. OS and TCP/IP.  I also do not have this rgb file or directory.

  18. so even though I have the links right, I get the message.  I tried
  19. moving the the rgb stuff from a Sun to there, and that got the server
  20. working for me-- although some colors are not quite right.

  22. Could someone please tell me how I can get the right rgb files for
  23. the megapel?

  25. Anyway, xinit still says "killed" but I can get the server running
  26. and use the thing as an X terminal.  But there are still problems.
  27. For example, xterms that try to ring the bell (control-g) die.

  29. I wish I knew more about X windows (do I really?...).  All I want is
  30. to make the RT into an X terminal, but it's hard to set up!
