  13. I would have to strongly recommend *against* buying the Quantex
  14. 386/40Mhz machine unless they have changed to a different design or
  15. motherboard.  The system I received from them last fall would work okay
  16. until it started to warm up.  When I opened the covers I found out they
  17. were using a 25Mhz Intel cache with the 40Mhz AMD processor!
  18. Needless to say I quickly bundled up the system and sent it back for
  19. a refund.  To their credit they were prompt and courteous with the
  20. refund but then I didn't try to recover shipping charges as well.
