- I am thinking of getting my PS/2 50Z at work connected to our Unix box
- (I currently use a dump Wyse terminal). The Unix guys tell me I need some
- kind of TCP/IP connection and an ethernet card. Well MCA ethernet cards
- are not cheap and I am thinking perhaps I could make do with a Xircom
- connector via the parallel port, using thin net to our Unix box. (Forgive
- my inexact terminology here, I am a MVS systems programmer). Anyway,
- this sounds reasonable but are there are shareware/public domain TCP/IP
- implementations that will work with this hardware arrangement. Should I
- get a MCA ethernet card instead. If so, the same software question
- applies.
- Thanks
