  21. I have written and made available over the years quite a few PD 
  22. programs. I don't support them, simply make the .exe/com and code
  23. with little or no documentation available at no cost.  
  24. I know from the mail I get that many people find them of use.

  26. I the effort to develope commercial software takes about 4-10 times the 
  27. effort as PD.

  29. We don't all have ton's of money or the time to write the code we need. At 
  30. the same time someone else has spent several weeks writting just what I 
  31. need. Call me lazy, call me cheap, it's a good deal for all concerned.

  33. PD means through cooperation we can make our lives easier.

  36. While we are at it does, anyone know of any PD multi user games for 
  37. DOS. I'm thinking of something like conquest on UNIX. While it is PD on 
  38. UNIX, the author will not permit ports to DOS (Sigh ...)
  39.
