  10. A collegue of mine is planing travel to the Moscow (Russia) archives.
  11. Copiers are few and far between and even if you supply the paper the 
  12. athorities may take the paper and not let you make copies anyway.
  13. Her solution is to take a scaner hooked to her Toshiba laptop (unknown model)
  14. and scan in the documents she needs.  She intends to leave the scaner there
  15. when she leaves.
  16. Questions:
  17. Is there a DOS Optical Character Recognition program that can read Russian?
  18. Does anyone have any recomendations on a robust, reliable, and lugable scaner?
  19. Is this even practical?
