- I have a program called PHONEV4.1 which I have running on my BBS to reset the
- computer after a specified number of rings. It works remarkably well - the
- few times my BBS has crashed, PHONEV4 did the trick to do a warm reboot after
- the number of rings I specified.

- It was written by Scott Neumyer, a sysop in WWIVLink, and if I recall, it's
- freeware. It does require a Hayes compatible modem...since I don't think it
- reads the terminal leads off the RS-232 port. It's a small program, also.

- There's another program out there called WATCHCAT but I haven't seen the progra
- m firsthand. I suspect it works quite the same way, though. Dunno if it's
- freeware, though.
