- Gateway has just announced a new system that looks very good to me
- despite all the negative things we read about Gateway here. The system is
- a 486 DX2 66Mhz systems with 8 MB of ram, 64K cache, a 340 MB disk, a
- "new generation" ATI Ultra LOCAL BUS video adapter, and their 15 inch
- crystal scan monitor. The salesman said the Local Bus video is the first
- VESA compliant bus. The asking price for this is $2995. This sounds like
- a very nice system (except maybe the monitor). Any opinions out there?
