  21. I tried to hook up a non-Seagate drive to a ST-02 and didn't have much
  22. success.  The ST-02 installation book mentions that the Seagate drives
  23. have software pre-loaded on the drive that the controller expects to see.
  24. I was using a program called Drive Pro which was able to look at the
  25. drive and read the number of heads/cylinders, but it would not format
  26. the disk.  Oh well, I only paid $40 for the controller card.

  39. I was trying to use the controller/drive in an AT&T 6312 (12Mhz '286) that
  40. currently had an RLL drive in it.  I wanted to upgrade from 20M to an 80M
  41. Seagate 1096N drive that had already been used in an Apple II GS.

  43. I don't know what would happen if you tried to use a second SCSI drive on
  44. the ST-02.
