  16.         I have an Adaptec 1542b controller (Dec '91 Roms) on an AMI 386-40
  17. board & a Paradise 1024 VGA card.  With no other hardware on board, I will
  18. get an error with any backup software that uses High Speed DMA.  (ie.
  19. With Norton Backup, it say the Video & the Drive controller DMA are
  20. conflicting).  I've tried all possible DMA's on the Adaptec card and still
  21. get the error.  What could be causing this error???  Or is this normal
  22. with SCSI cards?  Only software with High Speed DMA does this, what gives?
