  19. You can't do this with ASCII text calls - the DeskJet 500C only
  20. supports graphics with the color pen.  If you want text, you have
  21. to rasterize the text into graphics before sending it.

  23. With the black pen installed, the DeskJet 500C is just like a
  24. DeskJet 500 (DJ500 drivers will work fine).  ASCII text will
  25. work fine in this mode.
