  13. Athena Micro Systems sells a kit to upgrade a 386 based motherboard w/math
  14. coprocessor socket to a 486 cpu and math coprocessor. From what I
  15. understand one removes the old 386 from its socket and installs the 486 plus
  16. coprocessor. Has anyone done this? Do you get 486 performance improvements?
  17. The kit costs $235. Is it worth it or better to spend the extra $$ and
  18. replace the motherboard?
