- After changing disk controllers (Perstor 16-FN ARLL controller) and adding
- another 4 meg of memory to go to 8mb I've noticed my Time of Day clock
- running twice as fast as it should.
-
- During the process of adding the memory I lost the setups for this AMI
- BIOS for this VLSI/AMD386sx-25 7-16 bit slot motherboard. The docs
- disappeared - so I can't figure anything that the setups could do
- to cause this. Any suggestions?
-
- Can clock speed setups in the bios (the AMI lets you set the clock
- divisors and stuff) cause this? This sure screws up my BBS timestamps
- and news info. Last time I saw this was a PDP11 with two DL11-w line
- clocks.
-
- I thought the Battery-backed up clock ran off it's own oscillator
- in order to keep time with the system off.
-
- The whole thing is driving me crazy. Please respond via mail so I don't
- lose the response in the ibm-pc volume.
