- I have a US Robotics HST modem. I remember hearing a year ago about a
- daughterboard which could be added to it. The board would allow the modem to
- connect using the v.32 protocol. Does anyone know where I could purchase one
- of those boards? Or better yet, is there a v.32bis upgrade? I took the modem
- apart to see where the board would go. I'm not too sure if my modem really
- supports the board. There is not a socket for it like I imagined from the
- descriptions of the daughterboard. I would assume that it should be soldered
- into the holes available for it on the modem's circuit board. Also there
- aren't many foil connections from the daughterboard's pin outs to the rest
- of the modem's circuitry. Is there a better way to confirm if my modem is
- capable of the upgrade? Any information about upgrading my HST would be
- greatly appreciated.

- Thanks,
- Bob Cashman.
