  13.     I have a US Robotics HST modem.  I remember hearing a year ago about a 
  14. daughterboard which could be added to it.  The board would allow the modem to 
  15. connect using the v.32 protocol.  Does anyone know where I could purchase one 
  16. of those boards?  Or better yet, is there a v.32bis upgrade?  I took the modem
  17. apart to see where the board would go.  I'm not too sure if my modem really
  18. supports the board.  There is not a socket for it like I imagined from the
  19. descriptions of the daughterboard.  I would assume that it should be soldered
  20. into the holes available for it on the modem's circuit board.  Also there
  21. aren't many foil connections from the daughterboard's pin outs to the rest
  22. of the modem's circuitry.  Is there a better way to confirm if my modem is
  23. capable of the upgrade?  Any information about upgrading my HST would be
  24. greatly appreciated.
