  12. Fellow 'groupies',
  13. I've run into a problem with my 200mb hard drive on my primary partition
  14. of 100mb (c: drive).  I had some sectors that were overlayed.  I fixed
  15. the problem best as I could with PCTools DiskFix which fixed that problem
  16. but I then had some files I was no longer able to access.  For example
  17. one of my directories was no longer listed as such but was now show as
  18. being a file (I was able to figure that out).

  20. What I need is a description of all the bit fields that make up the
  21. file entry and how the sectors reference each other.  The data is still
  22. on the disk (I can find it with PCTools) but I don't have the knowledge
  23. to piece them together again.
