  13.     Hi folks!
  14.     I've been unsuccessfully trying to get an Apple ImageWriterII
  15.     to work with my PC. The cable the printer came with has a 25-pin
  16.     RS-232C connector. My PC only has a 9-pin serial port, so I use
  17.     a 25/9 adaptor. I use the dos mode com1:96,n,8,1 command to
  18.     configure the serial port to match the settings of the printer.
  19.     When I try to print something, eg. type autoexec.bat > com1,
  20.     I get a write error, which I also get when nothing is connected
  21.     to the serial port.

  23.     I'd like to know if after these procedures the printer should
  24.     print and if so, what could be wrong. I'd also like to get
  25.     the pin-connections from the 8-pin connector at the printer-end
  26.     of the cable to a 9-pin RS-232C, so I can double-check the cable.
