- At the Melbourne PC Show, there was one company selling the following 5
- Mega EVA cards:
-
- 1. TsengLab Mega EVA/2S (8bit 256 colour)
- 2. TsengLab Mega EVA/2S-24 (24bit true colour)
- 3. TsengLab Mega EVA/1024S (8bit 256 colour)
- 4. TsengLab Mega EVA/1024S-24 (24bit true colour)
- 5. TsengLab Mega EVA/2S-NI (from 1280x1024 Non-Interlaced)
-
- I was told that the 2S cards are built on 2 layer board and do not have a
- feature connector, whereas the 1024S cards are built on 4 layer board with
- feature connector. All cards support VESA standard of 1024x768 at 70Hz
- Non-Interlaced, furthermore, the EVA/2S-NI support 1280x1024 Non-Interlaced.
-
- I have two questions with regards to the cards mentioned above:
-
- 1. What is a feature connector?
- 2. I am interested in the Mega EVA/2S-NI card (since it supports
- 1280x1024 NI), does anyone know whether I can run X with that card?
- 3. Does X support any of the above 5 cards at all?
-
- Any comments/recommendations for the above cards would be appreciated.
-
- Thanks,
-
- Tam.
