- The AMI Fast Disk II (aroung 600 dollars street price w/4MB) holds 4 simms
- of either 1MB total, 4MB total or 16MB total. It is based on a 386SX 16 MHz
- as a controller (hey, they finally found a use for the 386SX) and is adaptec
- driver compatible.
- It requires double_buffered Smartdrv 4.o under Win 3.1, if you are so
- inclined. Has Unix drivers available, and is SCSI-II.
-
- The Mylex DCE-376 is similar & I have also seen it run on another friend's
- system. It used the i80387 (an 80386SX derivative intended as a controller)
