- I currently have a 386DX/20 machine, and I was wondering how much work would
- be involved if I wanted to replace the CPU with a 386/40 chip. I think the
- CPU would go along with (I think) the clock crystal. Is there anything else
- that would have to be done? Or would I need to replace the motherboard? If I
- needed a motherboard replacement, I'd just as soon go with a 486/33, or wait
- until the newer technology defines the next standard. Any comments?
