- I have in my possession a Syquest Model SQ555 44 mb removable media hard
- drive. this scsi interfaced drive was adapted to the Mac with an interface
- board. with the board removed, there is a standard 50 pin header for the
- SCSI and a row of pins that is presumably the device address and other
- stuff. The adaptor board switched these with some logic from the interface.
-
- I need some info.
-
- * What is needed to interface this drive to a PC using an Adaptec
- 1542b controller? Drivers?
-
- * What are the functions of the pins to the left of the SCSI connector
- looking in from the rear?
-
- * Lacking anything else, how to I contact Syquest. They don't seem to
- advertise in any of the PC rags I get.
-
- Thanks in advance.
