- I have an ADIC TD440i internal DC2000-based tape drive and have done
- a bit of research on it. It's transport is made by 3M and it is SCSI.
- I have hooked it up to an Adaptec 154x controller and by using some
- low-level software, verified that it is indeed a standard SCSI device.
-
- My question is, since ADIC hasn't supported this drive with new software
- since about 1987, is there anything else out there that I can use with this
- drive? I've looked into Sytos+ and although they support lots of drives,
- alas - nothing that uses an OEM 3M DC2000 transport.
-
- Features that I want: compression
- decent speed
- OS/2 HPFS support (would be nice though not required)
-
- If anyone has any ideas, please respond through e-mail. Thanks.
