  14. I have an ADIC TD440i internal DC2000-based tape drive and have done
  15. a bit of research on it.  It's transport is made by 3M and it is SCSI.
  16. I have hooked it up to an Adaptec 154x controller and by using some 
  17. low-level software, verified that it is indeed a standard SCSI device.

  19. My question is, since ADIC hasn't supported this drive with new software
  20. since about 1987, is there anything else out there that I can use with this
  21. drive?  I've looked into Sytos+ and although they support lots of drives,
  22. alas - nothing that uses an OEM 3M DC2000 transport.

  24. Features that I want:  compression
  25.                        decent speed
  26.                        OS/2 HPFS support (would be nice though not required)
