- I have noticed something similar in my vga monitor, the reason is that when it
- switches to 1024X768 mode the picture shifts to the left quite a bit for some
- reason, I have to adjust the horizontal centre knob everytime i switch to
- 1024X768 mode. this effect looks like the shadow you were referring to it is
- the picture folding back on itself.
