- I don't know. But if you find a way, proceed carefully. In today's
- distributed environments the names of systems get squirrelled away in more
- and more places. Changing the name of a system can cause mysterious problems.

- As an example, HP VUE saves system names in lots of places such as
- security files, session files, etc.
