- It is 16-bit, so yes 65536 colours. The question is, how. 15-bits
- (32768 colours) would simply map to 32 shades-of-red x 32 shades-of-green x
- 32 shades-of-blue - ie. twice the colour accuracy of the STe (4x the ST),
- and unrestricted palette (ie. true colour). Now, the last bit... well,
- it could be a "half-brite" bit, or some such global effect - perhaps
- thus giving even higher colour accuracy... but as for the TRUTH... who
- knows... 32Kcolours is fine by me! At least it doesn't exhaust all
- of your memory like 24-bit colur does (16Mcolours).
