- Your last statement is correct - you _must_ go through an FST (unless you
- want to do everything yourself using device driver calls!). Basically,
- the 32 Mb limitation is in the ProDOS FST, so all(?) the other FST's will
- handle larger volumes, ie. HFS, AppleShare, High Sierra, etc. Or to put
- things another way, it is easy enough to create partitions that are larger
- than 32Mb, but GSOS can't use them with the ProDOS filing system!
