Well, actually Apple did announce that they were going to stop producing the IIgs. The excuse they gave was that they could not get any more RGB GS monitors, and they refused to sell the computer without offering a monitor as well. So, when the monitors run out, there will be NO more GS's produced. Not like they were rolling thousands of the assembly line each day or anthing. :( But there are still a lot of machines out there! And a lot of machines cna be bought used and CHEAP now.
