- Look guys,
- by now you should have CBM (mis-) management figured out! It seems
- that every time a project is completed, CBM dumps most of the technical people
- involved in the project. Yes, I realize that this is a very short-sighted policy,
- but it is NOT new. At CBM there seems to be very little management level planning
- for product improvement. The technical folks do their best, but the bosses decide
- what gets sold (as they should, I just wish they would do a better job at it.)
- They seem to just throw the product out the door (and hope that it sells itself.)
- (In fact, they remind me of a former supervisor of mine. He was reported to have
- said publicly that "planning ahead is stupid.")
-
- Anyway, given that CBM management has been doing this for years, there is little
- need for hundreds of postings flaming CBM for doing it again. The management
- people aren't listening to you. You are just wasting bandwidth and effort.
