  22. Bullpucky.  I have a A3000-25/50 and I have the factory-installed Quantum
  23. LPS52S, a Rodime RX1400, and a Quantum LPS240S.  Occasionally I also have
  24. an A3070 tape drive, a 3M MCD-40 tape drive and a Syquest 44Mb drive
  25. attached as well.  I use it with AmigaDOS v2.04 (SuperKickstart, i.e.,
  26. 2.0beta ROMs, but that shouldn't matter) and Amiga UNIX v2.1c.

  28. The drive is fairly recent (it was purchased in May) and it works very
  29. well.  I have, however, run the TurboQuantum publicly-distributable
  30. program (I think it turns off mid-operation disconnects on Quantums) but
  31. only as a work-around for a bug in the scsi.device that can cause a big
  32. performance hit.  I haven't had any problems like SCSI bus lockups at
  33. all.

  40. I think the LPS240S replaced the 210S, so I'm not sure the 210S is
  41. manufactured anymore.  I haven't tried any other drive in that range.
