- It sounds like you're not using reselection. This allows a SCSI device (like
- a tape drive) to recieve a SCSI command (like FastForward) and then detach from
- the SCSI bus. Now other SCSI devices can be accessed. When the tape drive is
- finished it can reacquire the SBSI bus and continue.

- I'm not familiar with the Supra controllers so I can't give you any specific
- solution. Check your Supra docs for info on reselection.
