I am experiencing a minor problem. I am unable to get OS 2.0 running on my
2000 with zkick and and a kickfile.
This isn't a big problem, as I wouldn't actually use this on a serious basis,
But I want to buy the real 2.0 roms and I need to know if it will work.
Here's the details:
I have an amiga-2000 rev 6.something.
Supra wordsync-2000 with a quantum 52lps
an xt bridgeboard.
Supra 2400zi modem
GVP Series II a2000-Ram8 ram card with 2 megs on-board & 6 (empty) simm sockets.
When I use zkick to load the kickfile (with verbose mode on) it does a bunch
of configuring & linking and right after it says "linking 1 ram boards" it
gurus. When I get the roms, will this problem persist, or is it just a zkick
thing? The ram all test out ok, with various testers (including the one it
came with.)
If the 2.0 roms won't work with my ram card, I'd rather just skip it & buy some
simms or something (money's tight).
Oh yeah! Another strange thing. Sysinfo 2.7 says that I have a gvp scsi controller & a supra scsi controller. The ram card doesn't have a scsi controller (unless it's well hidden). Is this part of the problem?
