- Yesterday I plugged my keyboard in with my A2500 turned on. This
- has never been a problem in the past, but yesterday it resulted in
- a dead keyboard. The keyboard stops acknowledging the caps lock
- key a few seconds after power-up. If you send a CTRL-AMIGA-AMIGA,
- it will acknowledge the caps key for a few seconds again, but the
- computer appears to get no signals.
-
- Having no schematics for the keyboard itself, and knowing only
- the basics of its communication protocol with the Amiga, I'm
- pretty stuck for a repair strategy. Can any give any suggestions
- as to the component most likely to be at fault?
-
- Thanks.
