- My personal experience doing this was quite rewarding and also
- quite painstaking. I made a cable to hook up to my SCSI Tape
- Backup. This was the painstaking part, that is, connecting a DB25
- connector to a SCSI 50 pin cable that plugs (o)nto the host
- adapter on the drive. For pinouts see your GVP manual.

- Aside from that all that is necessary is to set the ID on your
- Drive and make sure that the terminating resistor pack is on your
- last drive. Thiss is always socketed and is easy to move from drive
- to drive.

- Setup is a snap with the GVP software which will automatically
- recognize the new drive once initially setup.
