- I don't have the number readily available, but you can call a
- Seagate Tech. Support line and get the parameters on every drive they've
- made. It's one of those "Press 1 for blah blah support, etc." However,
- I found it quite helpful after accidentally resetting the CMOS setup
- on an IBM system. You actually enter the numerals of your drive when
- directed by Mr. Computerized Voicemail. Call information at
- 408-555-1212 and ask for Seagate; the main office can give you the
- Tech. Service number. Seagate is (was?) based in Scotts Valley, CA.
