  13. I don't have the number readily available, but you can call a 
  14. Seagate Tech. Support line and get the parameters on every drive they've
  15. made. It's one of those "Press 1 for blah blah support, etc." However,
  16. I found it quite helpful after accidentally resetting the CMOS setup
  17. on an IBM system. You actually enter the numerals of your drive when
  18. directed by Mr. Computerized Voicemail.  Call information at
  19. 408-555-1212 and ask for Seagate; the main office can give you the
  20. Tech. Service number. Seagate is (was?) based in Scotts Valley, CA.
