- I'm looking for the simplest way to hook up an analogue to digital
- converter to the Amiga, for audio digitizing experiments.
-
- Memory-mapping the ADC using the expansion bus looks complex because
- of the auto-config support. Or can I bypass this and stick a latch in
- the address space somewhere simply?
-
- The simplest option seems to be to use the parallel port. The RKM
- describes the software interface, and the hardware manual labels the
- pins, but I haven't found any description of the handshake sequence.
- Can anyone tell me the handshaking required for READING data from the
- parallel port?
-
- Thanks,
- Tim
