- This is very good idea. In fact, this should lead into creating a FAQ for
- this newsgroup (the comp.sys.amiga.* has an overall one, but c.s.a.games
- does not have its own).
-
- Things for this FAQ:
- -if a site can be found, a maintained list of cheats/hints/walkthrus files
- at this site. Also, possible people to contact in case problems occur.
- -a nettique guide for this group. This include
- -use of spoilers and such. This group is not the worst in missing
- spoiler warnings, but it should be, especially if current games
- are to be discussed.
- -what should be discussed. Obviously Amiga games. However, the
- recent thread about Amiga vs. SNES and Sega bought up
- problems (should it be in .advocacy or .games). This type
- of thing should be set to avoid unwanted discussion.
- -the FAQ. This has to be very general, not to cover specific games. Things
- I would include would be
- -a game compatability guide. This would probably be HUGH, so I
- refer others to the forementioned site. This should include
- 1.3/2.0 compat, HD-installable?, memory and hardware
- requirements, and other notes that would be of interest to a
- buyer.
- -possible hardware hacks (can i hook a nes control pad to my ami?)
- -general philosiphies on pirating/copy-protection (emphasising on
- that this group DOES NOT support software piracy!!!)
- -where can i get hack/moria/etc (refer to those groups/sites)
-
- This should be all that is needed. I would be willing to compose the FAQ if
- we can get the site for archives. Please add any info that you feel is
- necessary....
