- I had a similar problem. I started the install procedure, and it took almost
- half an hour to install! For some reason it would scan the disk or something
- for over five minutes, making the funny sounds, and then finally it would
- transfer the files. I don't know what the hell it's doing in those 5 minutes
- but it seems wholly unnecessary to me. As for the disk requests, I had to
- insert the following in my startup-sequence...

- assign civ1: work:games/civilization
- assign civ2: work:games/civilization
- assign civ3: work:games/civilization
- assign civ4: work:games/civilization

- The game works fine now, but that install procedure is just too lousy.
- Whoever did the Amiga port did'nt spend much time Amigatizing the game,
- this is even obvious by the opening when it asks you if you are playing
- with keybord or mouse & keyboard. What Amiga owner would play without
- a mouse?!
