- Well, thats a strange statement to make. You expect the author of C-UseNet to
- constantly, (sometimes weekly now) update his program because Ken Pletzer
- really doesnt know how to write a good door interface (or really doesnt care).
- I mean come on. Dont go blaming other people. The author of C-UseNet doesnt
- even run CNet anymore. I mean face up to facts. Cnet isnt a good BBS for
- standard 'C' door programs. You may think it is now that 2.0 comes out. But
- he will eventually change things rendering it incompatible. Put blame where
- it belongs. I understand your frustration. But if Ken had any brains,
- C-UseNet should have worked for every version out. I honestly think he really
- doesnt care anymore. He's made his money. The discussion before was how CNet
- STOLE code from another program. Anyone with pre-2.0 release can see the
- Copyright notice for gods sake. Geesh. I think there should be some legal
- action taken. Just another nail in the coffin for Cnet, the guy has stolen so
- many things. No wonder theres not much support on the net.
-
- Thats like calling a company "unethical" because the program they wrote for
- 1.2 doesnt work on today's machines. If thats the way it goes, I got a lot of
- people on the 64 that are pissed at me.
-
- Oh, and by the way, the author of C-UseNet would have sent out updates of his
- 1.99 version if he had updated to 2.0, but he did not want to shell out more
- money for Cnet 2.0. You still think its his fault eh?
