  14.     Acorn have recently held a developers conference in Cambridge and due to
  15.     overwhelming demand agreed to develop a C++ compiler.

  17.     It has been seen as a major oversight on Acorn's part that such a product
  18.     has not been forthcoming much sooner, but it is now scheduled for release
  19.     first or second quarter 1993.

  21.     It is being developed by Norcroft, and will adhere to the current C++
  22.     standard specifications.

  24.     I hope this helps to relieve the gloom that lots of you must probably be
  25.     feeling concerning this obvious oversight from Acorn.
