- Hi,
-
- Acorn have recently held a developers conference in Cambridge and due to
- overwhelming demand agreed to develop a C++ compiler.
-
- It has been seen as a major oversight on Acorn's part that such a product
- has not been forthcoming much sooner, but it is now scheduled for release
- first or second quarter 1993.
-
- It is being developed by Norcroft, and will adhere to the current C++
- standard specifications.
-
- I hope this helps to relieve the gloom that lots of you must probably be
- feeling concerning this obvious oversight from Acorn.
-
- Cheers for now,
-
- AndyF.
