  12. After using the stock "cu" & "uucp" I finally added a Telebit & HoneyDanber 
  13. to my 3B1.  The connex went fairly smoothly and all the help files available
  14. on the net allowed for a simple set up, but for ONE annoying problem.

  16. When I attempt to connect directly to the modem, or when I invoke uucico,
  17. the uucico response is "CAN'T ACCESS DEVICE".  So I recyle the power on the 
  18. Telebit & all works fine.  But after the disconnect (from either "cu" or 
  19. "uucp") I again have this problem.  This never happened using the stock
  20. cu & uucp with a Hayes at 1200.

  22. I am connecting via /dev/tty000 and have the telebit set as follows:
