  11.      I recently bought a Stanley ultrasonic measuring tape from a mail order
  12.      catalog. I believe it was All Electronics or Altronics (The one with
  13.      the flying genies on the front).  The cost was $14.95.  It has the 
  14.      ultrasonic transmitter, a board and an lcd which displays the distance.
  15.      The distance goes from about 2-30 feet somewhat reliably.   I believe
  16.      that Stanley discontinued this product and these have been liquidated.
  17.      I haven't opened it up yet and destroyed it.  Has anyone looked at one
  18.      of these before.  Is it possible to use this board to interface with
  19.      a microcontroller via the lines which go to the LCD?
