- Help! We have been trying quite unsuccessfully to route IP on
- our Novell 3.11 server. At Duke we have a campus net.
- The setup:
- Our server has 2 cards- the card on the internal net is
- 152.3.95.254.
- On the DukeNet (our campus backbone side) the card is
- 152.3.3.214.
- Our load statement is
- load tcpip forward=yes rip=yes
- bind ip to ne2000 addr=152.3.3.214 mask=ff.ff.ff.0
- bind ip to ne32 addr=152.3.95.254 mask=ff.ff.ff.0
- We have tried options such as defroute=yes on the inside card and
- setting static routing between the cards and the campus main
- gateway, with no luck. On our best efforts, the telnet session
- would attempt a connection but would time out with a host on the
- other side of the server.
- What are we doing wrong? Do you need more info to tell us what
- we're doing wrong?
- We'd appreciate all possible help.
