- hi,
-
- We are in the process of connecting several PC (runnning Dos) and 2 Dec
- Station 5000running Ultrix via ethernet, to allow controlling a
- manufacturing sytem. The PC's will have FTP software Inc.'s PC-TCIP
- software.
-
- We would like the PC's to be able to communicate with the Dec Stations,
- and other PC's through (C or C++) programs where messages could be send back
- and forth. The Dec stations can communicate with each other using unix's
- socket interface (I think).
-
- Is there any software libraries or routines available (commercial or
- public domain) that will allow communicaitons between programs.
-
- Thanks for any help.
