  13. We are in the process of connecting several PC (runnning Dos) and 2 Dec 
  14. Station 5000running Ultrix via ethernet, to allow controlling a
  15. manufacturing sytem.  The PC's will have FTP software Inc.'s PC-TCIP
  16. software.

  18. We would like the PC's to be able to communicate with the Dec Stations,
  19. and other PC's through (C or C++) programs where messages could be send back
  20. and forth.  The Dec stations can communicate with each other using unix's
  21. socket interface (I think).

  23. Is there any software libraries or routines available (commercial or
  24. public domain) that will allow communicaitons between programs.
