  11.
  12. I picked up four Intel 16 bit ISA bus ethernet cards at a local
  13. swapmeet and need jumper information for these puppies.
  14. I tried Intel's BBS, Intel's tech support hotline, Intel's faxback
  15. service, local Intel sales droid - all to no avail.
  16.
  17. The boards look something like this:
  18.
  19.     |<--------------------- 8 3/16" ----------------------->|
  20.     +-------------------------------------------------------+---
  21.     |           +----------------+                          |

  23.     |           +----------------+           [||||||]       |-+
  24.     |                                                       | |
  25.     |        []                   JP17 JP1   JP5            | | AUI
  26.     |       JP15                    []  [|||||]             | |

  32.              |          | |                           |     |
  33.              +----------+ +---------------------------+     |
  34.                                                             |
  35.
  36. Two boards are marked w/ 'PBA 600010-004' and appear to have been
  37. manufactured in 1990 (I'm guessing from the date codes on various
  38. components).  The other two boards have no PBA number, appear to
  39. be from the 1989 period, and are missing JP17.
  40.
  41. Are these Intel PC-586 controller boards?  If not, what are they?
  42. What are the Jumper settings?  Can I get packet drivers for these?
  43. Are they any good (assuming that they work)?  I would appreciate
  44. any information.  Will gladly pay for copies of the option jumper
  45. description pages from the manual(s).
  46.
  47. Thanks in advance - Frank
