- This isn't possible on most unix systems.

- On some systems (DEC's Ultrix, MIPS RISCos, CDC EP/IX and maybe some other),
- there is some way to configure the way the resolver libs does their lookup.
- /etc/svcorder, or /etc/vis.conf
