  24. Well, I can't say I've seen a FAQ list, but I've only been here
  25. for a short time myself.

  27. For starters, SNMP (as you probably know) stands for Simple Network
  28. Management Protocol.  As best as I understand it, this newsgroup
  29. is for the discussion of SNMP (and related issues).

  31. What you might find interesting, is that there is a bimonthly
  32. newsletter which you can subscribe to over the net.  This newsletter
  33. is basically quite technical, but if you like this sort of thing,
  34. then this is the sort of thing you'll like.    :-)

  36. The newsletter comes in either PostScript or MIME format.  Send
  37. a message to st-subscriptions@simple-times.org with the word
  38. "help" (without quotes) in the Subject line.  The rest should
  39. become clear after you receive a reply.
