  12. I wonder if there is anyone out there who has developed own
  13. SNMP-agents for SW/OS management and integrated them with
  14. any commercial manager as the Sun Net Manager or HP-s OpenView
  15. Node Manager. For instance for checking behaviour of daemons,
  16. database servers or something like that.

  18. In such case, is there any preferrable package for developing/integrating
  19. these SNMP-agents? Anyone used the HP OV extensible SNMP agent?

  21. Is there any other manager that I should look at to solve such
  22. a problem on a Sun system besides those tho already mentioned 
  23. and Spectrum?

  25. I've read somewhere that there is a package that provides the possibility 
  26. to program SNMP agents in Perl, what its name and has anyone used it?

  28. Has anyone run HP's OV Node Manager on Sun?
