- I wish I could say the same. I have had ZIP service from Intercon.
- Despite numerous email exchanges, they have refused to deal with me
- directly (even to my NJ address) - instead directing me to their Aus
- distributor. Intercon (and I) have AppleLinked their distributor, who
- eventually called me. I asked a basic question (will a single user copy
- allow my Mac to mount from multiple Unix boxes simultaneously?) in response
- to being told the pricing schedule. Distributor promises to find answer
- to this (and a simple question on Nok Nok which they also distribute) and
- get back. But, of course they don't get back and fail to return my call.
- As I told Intercon, this is perfectly consistent with this distributor's
- reputation. (At last year's Aus MacWorld I noticed that this distributor
- had the flyers for DiskFit Pro. Since I'd been long awaiting my upgrade, I
- asked about it. The person I asked happened to be the boss. He didn't
- even know that DiskFit Pro was backup software - even though he had the
- flyers!)

- From the sound of it, I should be happy that Interconn and their
- distributor have dropped the ball.

- PS to Intercon. Don't bother pressuring your distribution to chase me up.
- You've lost not only my sale, but a significant number of potential sales
- fron my School which is mainly a Unix-with-Mac-front-ends shop.
