- Hello -
-
- I'm wondering if someone could provide me with some direction in regards
- to a few problems that I'm currently having.
-
- I'm in the process of trying to install NCSA Telnet on one of our
- Macintoshes. I configured a test MAC with MacTCP 1.1 (as obtained from
- from APDA) and from what I can tell it is configured correctly (No errors
- at boottime, etc.). However when I start NCSA Telnet it complains with
- the following message:
-
- Error opening TCP Drivers
- Possibly no dynamic addressing
-
- I'm using NCSA Telnet 2.4.02 (MacTCP version) in conjunction with
- MacTCP 1.1. Our DDP gateway is a Fastpath 5 which bridges the
- localtalk network to our TCP/IP network/UNIX servers. Currently
- we are using the Fastpath in conjunction with CAP/AUFS in order to
- provide fileserver support (this is working well). We'd like to get
- Telnet support in place so that a Macuser could access applications
- on the UNIX side.
-
- I would appreciate hearing from someone in regards to this - please use
- this email address to reach me:

-
- I'd tell you to use our domain address, but the nameserver for the
- domain is toast currently and we're waiting for it to come back up.
-
- Thanks in advance!
