  12. The SetUp
  13. I have an SE/30 with an EMACS ethernet card attached. I have
  14. installed Farrallon's Liason, Apple's MacTCP, and Fetch. I have
  15. structured Liason so that it sees an Appletalk network on both
  16. serial ports and an ethertalk network on the ethernet port.
  17. The machine has a CDROM drive (apple) and a 330 meg harddrive.
  18. I will eventually be using the machine as a file server as well but
  19. that has not happened yet. I have set up a Mac IIcx with telnet 2.5 set
  20. up to be an FTP server. I use Fetch on the SE/30 to download files.

  22. The Problems
  23. 1) It will download for a while (anywhere from 2 to 10 files) purfectly.
  24. All of a sudden I get an odd error saying that there is no longer
  25. a connection. Usually I can ignore the error and keep going. SOmetimes 
  26. I need to close the connection and reestablish it.

  28. 2) Eventually, Fetch reports a Bus Error (no error number) and locks up
  29. the machine. I need to reboot to get it back again. Unless I actually
  30. turn off the machine and start from scratch, the bus errors happen
  31. in a shorter and shorter period of time.

  33. I am using the latest drivers for everything.

  35. Can anyone help with either problem.
