  12. We are using CAP60.pl100 on our Sun IPX for aufs and papif.  We use native
  13. ethertalk with the /dev/nit interface.  Over the last few weeks I've
  14. noticed a problem with papif finding the LaserWriters.  According to the
  15. log files, the LaserWriter is not being found the first time papif looks
  16. for it.  papif keeps trying and generally finds it the second or third
  17. time.  In trying to figure out what is going on I ran atlook and atloolws. 
  18. They show a similar problem, most of the time they return nothing like
  19. nothing was found on the network but occasionally (maybe once in 5 tries)
  20. they do find things.  I used the cap debugging flags and found out that
  21. they were timing out when nothing was found but increasing the timeout from
  22. 3/4 of a second to 1 minute did not improve the results.

  24. aufs and atis seem to work fine.  Anyone have any ideas as to the problem
  25. or suggestions for me to try to narrow the problem down?
