  11. Recently here, many of our office personnell were using ROLM switch DTIs
  12. to connect to an IBM mainframe, usually using Mac Kermit or Yale's
  13. TinCan. However, we've ditched the DTIs and placed cards in the machines
  14. so they can use TCP/IP programs such as Brown's tn3270 modification of
  15. the NCSA Telnet program.  While nothing is wrong with this program, it
  16. does not offer us the luxury of locally printing email as our serial
  17. line programs did.  I have heard about the WMAC/RMAC utilities for
  18. tn3270, but they apparantly only run in IBM 370 mode, not XA mode (what
  19. we run around here).  I would appreciate it if someone could give me
  20. some pointers to products (preferably free, but commercial considered)
  21. that will allow us TCP/IP connections, 3270 emulation, and local
  22. printing (screen dumps don't count, but session captures might suffice).
  23. I'll give a summary if responses warrant.
